Paul Allen Schmith

Paul Allen Schmith , 67, Beech Grove, Indiana, departed this life June 9, 2020, a victim of CoVid19 Virus. He was born September 22, 1952, the oldest son of Paul and Betty Schmith and is survived by his mother, three brothers, Gregory, Eric and Zachary, and sister, Nina Sutton. Paul loved cars, Coca-Cola, radios and wrist watches.  Paul was forced to navigate this life with some mental challenges, but he loved to laugh and be in the company of his siblings. Throughout his life Paul resided at various State operated mental health facilities including Mascatatuck, New Castle and Central State until the State of Indiana ceased to fund and operate facilities for mentally handicapped Hoosiers. Paul’s life was both a blessing and a challenge and his family is thankful he is free of earthly limits and is soaring now.
