He graduated from Decatur Central. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Alvin F. and L. Jean French, and brother, Charles A. French. He is survived by daughters; Missy Miles, Kari Ward and Amber French, sister; Patricia Heidlebaugh, brothers; David and Randel French, grandchildren; Cody, Ty, Nevin, Kyler, Kayla and Addison.
