Pamela J. Strattan-Holmes , 72, of Indianapolis, IN passed away January 15, 2019. Survivors include husband, Jerry Holmes; Sons, Chris (Cindy) Roberts, Scott (Mary) Roberts; stepsons Ryan (Racquel) Holmes, Gabriel (Nicole) Holmes; stepdaughter, Noel Holmes (Glenn “Smokey”) Irwin; sister, Jan (Dennis) Rahn; Brother, Michael A. Strattan;  grandchildren: Camillia Roberts, Connor Roberts, Greg Johnson, Olivia Roberts, Michael O’Leary, Sean O’Leary, Wyatt Roberts, Madeline Roberts, Shane Roberts, Taylor Holmes (Jared) Cox, Chad Armstrong, Gabriel Holmes, Ernie Holmes, Ava Holmes, Haylee Morales, Leah Burress, Riley Riley, Ariel Holmes, Jerry Holmes, Ulric Irwin, Samantha Irwin, Ashley Armstrong, Alison Armstrong; great grandchildren: Ruby Cox, Eloise Cox, Samuel Cox, Rose Armstrong, Presston Saylor, Madyson Saylor, Carter Raney, Abby Raney, Dwight Jones, Sierra McLaughlin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Magdaline “Mickey” and Raymond J. Strattan.

Pamela graduated from Arsenal Technical High School, Class of 1964. She was retired from the Indianapolis Police Department after 27 years of service. A parishioner at Nativity Catholic Church, she was also active in the Retired Police Officers Association as well as a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5353 McFarland Road, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. Officiating will be Father Steve Bannet. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
