Owen "Timmy" Timothy Tackett

Owen "Timmy" Timothy Tackett , age 58, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2019.

Timmy was born in Olive Hill, KY on February 22, 1961. He was the son of Joe Tackett and Betty Tackett (Sawyer). He was a loving father to Crystal and Kimberly, big brother to Tuie, Cissy, Tammy, Randy, and Robbie, a caring grandfather to Brooklyn, William, and Michael, and loyal friend to many. He is proceeded in death by his parents, and brothers Tommy and Skeeter.

Timmy, a US Navy Veteran, will be remembered for his contagious laugh, for lighting up a room, and being the peacemaker. A kid at heart, he loved his cartoons and watching his favorite game show Let’s Make a Deal. Timmy was a very proud papaw and loved relaying stories about his grandchildren. He also  loved to gamble. He always found fun with his bowling leagues, betting on Nascar, his scratch offs and daily 3’s. He loved his family and his friends and he was very loved by all in return. Timmy was a big teddy bear, a protector, and a hard worker. He was a great person who would be there for you when you needed him. He would give the shirt off his back to help a friend in need.

Timmy will be dearly missed by all. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Bell Professional Mortuary located at 2310 West Washington Street, Indianapolis IN 46222 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm with the service starting at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you either have a beer or play his favorite daily 3 numbers (721 and 426). He would have liked that.
