Olga Gloria Johnson Foster

March 1, 1924 — October 24, 2010

Mrs. Foster was a graduate of Brazil High School and attended IUPUI and the University of Michigan. Mrs. Foster was a Brownie Scout Leader in her earlier years. In 1972, Mrs. suffered a stroke. She was a very active charter member of the Stroke Club of Indianapolis. She was the club's spokesperson, traveling state-wide to form Stroke Clubs. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, Post #9843. Mrs. Foster worked for the State of Indiana for 15 years as a Labor Market Analyst and a Special Studies Research Investigator for the Department of Mental Health. She also worked at Crossroads Rehabilitation Center, and later volunteered there. She was a member of Crossroads Volunteer Association. Mrs. Foster leaves behind to mourn her memory, one daughter, Reverend Terri R. Mimms; son-in-law, Reverend Keith A. Mimms; two granddaughters, Nicole and Jasmine; two great-granddaughters, Michaela and Eddie of Indianapolis; two nieces, Olga Frances Bryant and Carol Ann Davis of Georgia; great nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends.
