Nancy Jane (Modesitt) Auen

Nancy Jane (Modesitt) Auen , 65, of Greencastle passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. Nancy was born in Brazil, IN on August 18, 1947 to Ray and Nancy Pauline (Adams) Modesitt. She attended Brazil Senior High School. Nancy worked at the Pillsbury Company in Seelyville, IN and was previously the owner of Coatesville Food Center She was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed crafting and quilting. Nancy is proceeded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald R. Modesitt; and a son, Darrin Keith Blubaugh. She is survived by her husband, Ray Auen; a son, James L. Blubaugh, two daughters, Lisa Frost and Lorie (Clarence) Pierce; six grandchildren, Kellsie Sanders, Samantha Frost, Troy Pierce, Brandon L. Pierce, Elizabeth Frost, and Logan Blubaugh; one great grandchild, Colton Sanders; two nephews, Billy Modesitt and Ronnie Modesitt; a niece, Janice Modesitt; a sister-in-law, Cloe Hayden, and several cousins. There will be a celebration of life at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 260 E. Co. Rd. 3005, Greencastle, IN 46135, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday August 20.
