Miriam "Jeanne" (Johnson) Frank

Miriam "Jeanne" (Johnson) Frank, 86, of New Palestine, passed away January 8, 2020 in Greenfield. Miriam was born in Kankakee, IL on May 15, 1933, a daughter of the late Wilodene (Countryman) and Joseph B. Johnson.  Survivors include son, Donald B. (Mary Beth Price) Frank; daughters, Deborah L. (Thomas) Williams, Danita J. (Edward) Charters II; sister, Rita (Dick) Lambrecht; sister-in-law, Barbara Johnson; grandchildren, Melissa (Williams) Hurst, Joshua Frank, Angie (Williams) Crook, Zachary Frank, Tyler Frank, Jackson Taylor, Cameron Taylor; step grandchildren, Andrea Charters, Jenna Price, Mitchell Price, and 10 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by husband, Merle P. Frank; mother-in-law, Opal M. Frank; father-in-law, Herman Frank; brother, Dr. Robert Johnson; sisters-in-law: Millie Frank, Levera Frank, Marilyn Frank; brothers-in-law, Cleo Frank, Harold Frank, Phil Ramsey.

To Jeanne, her family was everything. She had a Masters in Education and retired in 1994 from College Wood Elementary in Carmel, Clay Schools. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Her hobbies included quilting, lake life, reading and family. "She was a nice lady and had a great smile."

Service will be on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 1:00pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 West US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN  46130 with Visitation from 11:00am until time of service at the mortuary.  Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
