Millard "Nick" Samuel Nichols

Millard was the son of Sam and EvelynMcCurdyNichols. He married Joyce McClellan on July 29, 1950, and she survives. Other survivors include his daughters, Terry Chandler and Sharon Nichols; and grandson, Nicholas Chandler. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard Leon Nichols. Millard had been a senior process engineer at Detroit Diesel Allison Plant No. 5 for 41 years. He was an U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in Germany. Nick graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1947. He was a Shelby County Mason and Shriner and a member of the Shelby County Tractor Club and Roll-Royce Owners Club.
