Michael Wayne Gates, 62, of Carlisle, IN passed away November 1, 2020. He was born in Rapid City, South Dakota. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Gates; son, Michael Wayne (Jenny) Gates II; mother, Donna Gates; sister, Patricia Ann (Jeff) Hall; brother, David Repstock; four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Gates and his grandparents.

Michael served in the United States Marines. He loved to paint.
