Michael J. Boyer

Michael “Big Mike, Big Boy” J. Boyer, 66, of Indianapolis, IN passed away October 3, 2020. He was born in Indianapolis, IN, a son of the late Nancy E. (Wall) Boyer and Leon M. Boyer. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Jan C. (Burleson) Boyer; daughter, Courtney L. (Taya Dolsen) Boyer; son, Michael J. Boyer Jr.; sister, Beverly E. Taylor (Dan Taylor, dec.); brother, William A. (Carol Boller Boyer) Boyer; nieces and nephews, Mandi, Wade, Ashlee Boyer, Jamie Fiano, Dawn Tucker Wirtz, Nick & Joan Burleson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Michael graduated from John Marshall High School class of '73. He was the 1995 World’s Bench Press Champion. He was a member of the ADFPA (American Drug Free Powerlifting Association) and was retired from Sam’s Club.

He enjoyed muscle cars and owned a 1968 Chevy Nova. He also enjoyed powerlifting/weightlifting.

An amazing life ending way too soon.

As we always used to say, "There was never a dull moment at the Boyer household".

There are no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
