Melvin E. Couch

Melvin E. Couch, 88 of Avon, Indiana  passed away August 1, 2019. He was employed by Inland Steel/Arcelor Mittal 2Ac.  He retired August 1, 1992 after 35 years of service.  He is survived by wife, Mildred Couch; son, Thomas Couch; Daughter, Cathy (Homer) Sartain;  grandchildren, Jonathan (Julie) Sartain, Brian Sartain, Michelle Couch (Mark Burke), Samantha Couch, Nicole Bean; great grandchildren, McKenzie Svitek, Lucas Sartain, Noah Sartain.

Melvin was a member of Local Union 1258, Loyal Order of Moose, Calumet Ridge, IN Local 1258.  He was also a Veteran of the US Army, Active Service from January 17,1952 until December 19,1953 as a CPL. He enjoyed his RV  and camping.
