Mary went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2010. She was born July 24, 1946 in Bandy, Virginia. Mary was the seventh of nine children, born to Raleigh G. Whitt and Euva L.SparksWhitt, who preceded her in death. Mary graduated from Cloverdale High School in 1965 and attended Ambassador College in Pasadena, California. She worked for Blue-Cross-Blue Shield, retiring in 1989. Also, preceding her in death were brother, Jackie E. Whitt and sister, Pamela A. Alltop. Survivors include husband, Danny J. Lawrence; son; Jarrod D. Lawrence; brothers; Bobby L. Whitt, William H. Whitt, Richard G. Whitt, sisters; Janice N. Wright, Alice J. Rush, Linda L. Bremer. Mary was a member of Hazelwood Christian Church.
