Marianne "Mimi" Penington

Marianne passed away comfortably the morning on December 25, 2010. A lifetime resident of Indianapolis. Marianne was born to Leland Wayne Penington and Mary Judith Lobraico-Penington of Indianapolis on May 30, 1954. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her grandparents, Micahel Angelo Lobraico and Ivy Opal Wilson-Lobraico and Charles Alton Penington and Anna Rachel Rodgers-Penington, all of Indianapolis. She is survived by two brothers and six nieces and nephews, Michael Lee Penington and wife, Diana of Indianapolis and his childern Jennifer Lee, Ryan Charles, and Melissa Lynn Penington. Harry Alton Penington and his wife, Barbara of Whitewater, Wisconsin and his children, Eric Andrew Penington, Caitlin Lee Penington Johnson-Urey and Mark Arthur Penington. Marianne had no children but, she is survived by "Spirit" her dog who provided great comfort to her until her final passing. No funeral services or memorials are immediately planned. "Mimi" requested that Rick Lawrence, as well as numerous close friends, gather to celebrate her life and passing at any scheduled services at the church she regularly attended or to celebrate her passing in their own personal ways. A memorial celebration will be conducted in early April with the gathering of her immediate family. "Mimi" has also requested that memorial contributions can be made to any animal shelter or humane society of your choice in the name of her dog, "Spirit".
