Marcelo Antonio Garcia Gonzalez, 46 passed away on July 1st 2022, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on May 30, 1976, in Chiquimula San Juan Ermita, Guatemala to Florinda González De García and Antonio García Vásquez. Márcelo attended and graduated from INBO in Chiquimula, Guatemala. He met his partner Claudia Alegria Garcia on February 2005. Marcelo worked at Universal Company as a quality inspector for 8 years, then worked at Piazza produce for 2 years as a picker, he would do landscaping during the hot season. Recently he worked at Arrow Container as a team leader. He was an avid soccer player, loved to travel, and listen to music. His favorite genre of music were old rancheras and romantics. Marcelo is survived by his father Antonio Garcia; Mother Florinda Gonzalez Garcia; partner Claudia Alegria; step-son Jose Alegria; step-daughter Jacqueline Alegria; brother Edwin Garcia; and sisters Dora, Nohelia, Carina Garcia; and Marisol Rogue. Marcelo is preceded in death by his sister Alba Iris Garcia. He will be missed by all his friends and family. Service will be held on Saturday, July 9th 2022 from 12 – 3pm in Bell Mortuary located at 2310 W. Washington Street, Indianapolis, In 46222. Friends are welcomed to visit the family at the times of service. Memorial contributions may be made out to Claudia Alegria.

Marcelo Antonio García González de 46 años, falleció el 1 de julio del 2022 en Indianápolis, Indiana. Nació el 30 de mayo de 1976 en Chiquimula San Juan Ermita, Guatemala hijo de Florinda González De García y Antonio García Vásquez. Márcelo asistió y se graduó del Instituto INBO en Chiquimula, Guatemala. Conoció a pareja Claudia Alegría García en febrero del 2005. Marcelo trabajó en Universal Company como inspector de calidad por 8 años, luego trabajó en Piazza Produce por 2 años como picker, hacía jardinería durante la temporada de calor. Recientemente trabajó en Arrow Container como líder de equipo. Era un ávido jugador de fútbol, le encantaba viajar y escuchar música. Su género musical favorito eran las rancheras antiguas y las románticas. A Marcelo le sobreviven su padre Antonio García; madre Florinda González García; su pareja Claudia Alegría; hijo José Alegría; hija Jacqueline Alegría; hermano Edwin García; y las hermanas Dora, Nohelia y Carina García; y Marisol Roque. A Marcelo le precedieron en la muerte su hermana Alba Iris García. Marcelo va a ser extrañado por todos especial mente su familia y amigos. El servicio se llevará a cabo el sábado 9 de julio de 2022 de 12 a 3 p. m. en Bell Mortuary localizado en 2310 W. Washington Street, Indianápolis, In 46222.
