Lonnie Paul Clark

September 4, 1944 — December 20, 2025

Greenfield

Lonnie Paul Clark, 81, of Ingalls IN, was set free of his failing health on December 20, 2025 while residing at Springhurst Health Care in Greenfield Indiana. Paul, as most knew him, was born in Lee County, Virginia on September 04, 1944 to John H. Clark and Dora (Burgan) Clark.

Paul was married to Patricia Ellen (Lockhart) Clark on July 31, 1963. Paul and Patricia enjoyed over 52 years of marriage before the passing of Patricia, in May of 2015, when she succumbed to her death after a lengthy battle with colon cancer.

Paul had multiple occupations throughout his life which included working in construction and pig farming. But most of his career was spent in the automobile industry where he worked as a reconditioning technician. Paul enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His favorite hobby was going to garage sales and going to the flea market. For many years if you wanted to find him on a Thursday you would need to go north to Strawtown, as he would be set up there selling what ever he had acquired from the garage sales he and Patrica had been to the weeks before.

Paul will be missed by his family and friends including his two children, Lonnie “Rick” Clark (Shari) of New Palestine IN, and Melissa Vaughn of Ingalls IN, his grandchildren William (Abby) Clark of North Augusta, South Carolina, Michael Clark (Tiffany Rushton) of Greenwood IN, and Michaela Snyder of Ingalls IN, and his great-grandchildren Camden, Coleman, and Clayton Clark of North Augusta, South Carolina, and Bradley Snyder of Ingalls, IN.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia, his parents John and Dora Clark, his brothers, Charles Clark, John Clark and Don Clark, his sister Irma Pence, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm, both taking place at the Gravel Lawn Cemetery Chapel, 9088 W. 1025 South, Fortville, IN, 46040. Paul will be laid to rest, beside his wife Patricia, where they will be united again for eternity.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Indiana Cancer Foundation.

Arrangements handled by Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W US Highway 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130.
