Leza Ann Corlett

May 22, 1960 — Jul 6, 2026

Fountaintown

Leza Ann Corlett, 66, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, in Fountaintown, Indiana. She was born on May 22, 1960, in Bloomington, Indiana, to Glenn Southern and Ruby Roberts Mason.  Leza’s presence brought warmth, determination, and a gentle light to everyone she knew.

Leza’s devotion to education and lifelong learning began early. She earned her Masters Degree from Indiana University in Elementary Education. Her dedication and leadership led her to a distinguished career, culminating in her role as Vice President of Hoosier Concrete Services. Colleagues and friends remember her as a thoughtful leader, someone who nurtured not only projects but also people, motivating those around her to reach their highest potential.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Leza was immensely proud of achieving her black belt in martial arts—a remarkable feat reflecting her discipline and commitment. She studied martial arts, even getting to travel to Japan on a couple of occasions, broadening her horizons and inspiring others with her adventurous spirit and perseverance.

Leza cherished her time with family, relishing in simple pleasures and shared adventures. Her greatest joys were flower gardening, which brought color and serenity to her world; car trip vacations with her sons, creating memories filled with laughter and discovery; family fishing trips, and snowmobiling excursions with relatives and friends. These times together were central to who she was—nurturing close bonds, celebrating life’s moments large and small, and finding happiness in the company of loved ones.

Leza’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who survive her. She is deeply missed by her devoted husband, Tod Corlett, and her two sons, Zachary (Amanda) Corlett and Zebadiah  (Mackaleigh) Corlett, whose lives she enriched beyond measure. She is remembered fondly by her sisters, Carolyn Hawkins and Connie (Delbert)  Baker; her brothers, David (Debbie) Southern and Greg Mason; and Tucker her sweet Labradoodle who was always at her side.  The love, guidance, and strength she offered her family will remain her enduring legacy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Southern and Ruby Mason, whose values and love she carried forward in her own life.
