Lewis was born on October 21, 1930 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Thomas Jefferson and May Nye Brown.
Survivors include wife; Linda Brown, daughters; Heidi (Eric) Spurlin, Jennifer (Joe) Firsich, Brenda Facker, Sharon Hackney, and Karen Reuter, stepson; Andrew Bach, brother; Robert Brown, 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, son; Steve Brown, grandson; Steven Brown, and brothers; Bill and James Brown.
