Leonard Gene Durham, 85 , Greenfield, IN passed away on November 19, 2023 in Greenfield, IN. He was born on June 17, 1938 in Indianapolis, IN.

Survivors include, wife, Meretha Jane Durham; daughter, Rene Lyn (Steven) Deal; grandchildren, Ashley Brooke Marcum, Madisen Nicole Deal (Tyler Costigan), Alex Nathaniel Deal (Tabitha), great grandchildren, Gavin Eli Marcum, Hazyll Brooklyn Costigan, Oliver Maxwell Costigan.

Preceded in death by, parents, Leonard & Wilma Durham; sons, David Lee Durham & Donald Gene Durham; brother, Gerald Lee Durham.

Leonard served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1962. He was a VA driver volunteer for Hancock Memorial and served on many mission trips to many hurricane torn areas.

Services will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 3:00pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W US HWY 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130 with visitation at 1:00pm until the time of the service at the mortuary. Officiating will be Chaplain Steve Ellis.
