Kevin "Lil Kev" Perry

Kevin “Lil Kev” Perry, beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and cousin, passed away on August 14, 2026. Born on April 4, 1986, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Kevin’s life spanned forty meaningful years in the city he always called home.

Kevin was a student of the Indianapolis Public School System and earned his GED, laying the foundation for the journey and relationships that defined his path. He was known to many as a loving presence who cared deeply for his family, always striving to be there when it mattered most. Those who knew him best will remember his warmth, his loyalty, and the love he so freely gave.

Family was at the very heart of Kevin’s world. He is survived by his treasured daughter, Kearstin Hatchett. He also leaves behind his loving sisters Roselyn (Patrick) Allan, Alice Perry, and Diana Perry, as well as his brothers John (Letona) Perry and Tony Perry, all of whom shared in his laughter, stories, and milestones through the years. Kevin’s love as a brother, as well as an uncle and cousin, radiated throughout his extended family, securing a legacy of cherished memories that will endure.

Kevin’s mother, Rosie Moore, preceded him in death; her memory was a steady presence throughout Kevin’s life.

Affectionately known by many as “Lil Kev,” he was described by those closest to him as a loving father, brother, uncle, and cousin. These simple truths carry Kevin’s spirit forward, etched in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation to be held on August 27, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m, at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock, 2310 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46222.  A Funeral Service will be held at the same location from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm with Pastor Mike Richardson officiating.
