Kathleen Avery

Kathleen Avery, 65, of Tupelo, MS, passed away on April 17, 2019 in Indianapolis. She was born on September 19th, 1954. Survivors include her husband; William Avery, Sons: William “Clay” Weatherspoon, Max Avery, Sister: Sandra (James) Isom of Benton Harbor MI; Brothers: Richie Weatherspoon of Muskeggon, MI; Emanuel Weatherspoon of Indianapolis, IN; Aunts: Christine Bolden of Detroit, MI; Ollie Mae of Detroit, MI; Nephews: Daleon Isom, Santrail Weatherspoon, Douglas Weatherspoon, Keith Weatherspoon, James Isom Jr. Nieces: Latoya Weatherspoon, Roshunda Isom, Jasmine Glaspy, Oreonna Weatherspoon, Ina Isom. Special Friend: Dorothy Buchanan and a host of other friends. Preceded in death by parents J.B. and Susie May Weatherspoon; brother: J.W. Weatherspoon; Sister: Pamela Weatherspoon.

Kathleen attended Benton Harbor High School where she received her diploma. She loved to cook, have fun, drink beer, socialize, and help family and friends.

Funeral Service will be on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 11:00am at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel, 2310 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN  46222.  Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of service at the mortuary.

Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
