Katherine Anne Koch Gilbert

Katherine "Kathie" Anne Koch Gilbert, 62, is with our Lord & Savior! Kathie was born August 3, 1948 in Gowanda, NY. Her family later moved to IN. She graduated from New Palestine High School in 1966. Kathie was the Beloved Mom of 3; Shannan Estelle Gilbert 9/22/69-5/16/88, Aaron P Gilbert, and Alisha A Gilbert Caudill. Employed nearly 20 years, as an Admin Assistant for Indiana DWD, Kathie also returned to College at age 50 to study Deaf Culture and American Sign Language. Katherine was a loving & devoted Grandma of 5; Ashley Brooke Nicole Gilbert D.O.B. 6/2/87 , Casey Gilbert, Jason "Levi", Jet and Jesse Caudill. Others survivors include her siblings; Marion Narvell, Ed Deb Koch, Don Becky Koch, her Son-In-Law Charlie Caudill, beloved nieces & nephews, & precious friends. Kathie was preceded in death by her Father Charles Koch, Daughter Shannan, Mother Barbara Koch & Sister Barb Lehmann. Visitation on Fri, Sept 10th 4pm-8pm and A Celebration of Life on Sat, Sept 11th at 1:30 pm will be held at Bell Mortuary 317 861-6153.
