Judith Ann Meier

Judith Ann Leinbach Meier, age 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 18, 2026, knowing she was deeply loved by her family.

Born on May 7, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Judy was the daughter of Herbert and Mildred (Kornfeld) Leinbach. She graduated from the Indiana University Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology and began her career as an X-ray technologist. Later, she spent many years serving the students and families of Heritage Christian School in Indianapolis, where she worked as a bus driver, school librarian, and high school secretary. She later worked as a receptionist in a dental office. No matter where she served, Judy was known for her caring spirit, faithfulness, and willingness to help others.

Judy shared 63 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Paul. Together they built a home centered on their love for the Lord, their family, and one another.

Her Christian faith was the foundation of her life. She loved the Lord deeply and faithfully served Him through music for many years. She sang in the choir, sang solos and duets, and spent many years singing in a trio with dear friends. She was a devoted member of Burge Terrace Baptist Church for over 40 years and later, Victory Baptist Church. Music was never simply something she enjoyed-it was one of the ways she worshiped and served her Savior.

Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She found great joy in caring for her family and treasured every opportunity to spend time with her three grandchildren. Whether attending their sporting events, recitals, church programs, or simply being together, she was one of their biggest supporters and loved them wholeheartedly.

Judy found great joy in creating a warm and welcoming home. She loved tending the flowers and landscaping around her yard, taking pride in making it beautiful. She was also an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed preparing meals and special treats for her family and friends. Whether she was working in her yard or in her kitchen, she found happiness in caring for those she loved, and those simple acts of service became some of the ways her family felt her love most.

Judy will be remembered for her gentle spirit, steadfast faith, servant's heart, and the love she showed to those around her. Although dementia gradually changed many things in her later years, it never erased the legacy of faith she left to her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Paul; her children, Kerry (Meier) Meier (spouse Tim Meier) and Mark Meier; her three cherished grandchildren, Collin S. Meier, Addison E. Meier, Caelyn R. Meier; siblings Alan B. Leinbach (Donna) and Claire Leinbach Williams (Russ). She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Mildred (Kornfeld) Leinbach and sister Betty Leinbach Bourne.

Her family finds comfort in knowing that Judy is now in the presence of the Lord she loved so dearly. Her mind is whole, her pain has ended, and she is rejoicing with her Savior.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at Victory Baptist Church 1340 E. Tracy Road, Whiteland, IN 46184 on August 22, 2026 beginning at 11 AM, followed by a memorial service at 1 PM.
