Joseph Anthony St. John

Joseph "Joe" Anthony St. John, 59, of Avon, IN was born in Martinsville, Indiana on January 29, 1959, a son of the late Imogene R (Williams) and Glenn St. John. Joe was proceeded in death by his parents; a son, Daniel St. John; brothers, Tim, Mike, Mark and Bruce St. John; grandson, Nicholas St. John; nephews, Jason and Rex St John. Survivors include his son, Brian (Fernanda) St. John of Plainfield; daughter, Loni (Kevin) Randolph of Avon; step daughter, Leslie (Lloyd) Harris of Brazil; step son, Dustan of Avon; ex-wife, Sandra Castleman of Avon; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and multiple great grand nieces and nephews.

Joseph graduated May of 1977 from Plainfield High School in Plainfield, IN. He married on September 2, 1982 to Sandra Howard at the First Baptist Church in Plainfield, IN. Joseph was the co-owner and operated a grocery delivery service in Stilesville, IN. He worked as a Brick and Mortar Mason for a family owned business and he worked for Carter Transportation Transfer Trucking Company as a overnight semi driver. He also worked at Pizza Hut as a delivery person and manager and he worked for Plainfield High School as a custodian.

Joseph enjoyed fishing with his brothers, nephews, father and son. After he retired, he enjoyed watching westerns and the Colts Football games.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Vertical Church, 620 N. Carr Road, Plainfield, IN 46168. Services will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. at the church.
