John Edward Huxham

John E. Huxham, 85, passed away on January 6, 2020 in Greenfield.  He was born on April 27, 1934 in Covington, Kentucky to the late Stuart H. and Arletta V. (Wilson) Huxham. He retired from E.I. Dupont Company. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn J. Huxham of Fountaintown, IN; children, Debbie (Leon) Lutes of Westfield, IN, John (Sharon) Huxham, Jr. of Plano, TX, Dr. J. Mark (Lisa) Knopp of Greenfield, IN, Denise Waymire of Fountaintown, IN, and Kathleen (Charlie) Burton of Fountaintown, IN; grandchildren, Tricia (Matt) Burns, Steven Lutes, Jonathan (Emmy) Lutes, Trevor Huxham, Ian (Victoria) Huxham, Kristen (Tony) Engle, Lauren Knopp, Katherine Waymire, Craig (Kayla) Waymire, Jonathan Day, Stephanie (Seth) Wilson, Bryan (Katie) Day, Tawni Burton and Petr Kupka; and great grandchildren, Madison and Andrew Burns, Claire Lutes, Milo Lutes, Rose, Jae, Neal and Irena Engle, Penelope, Henry and Abbagail Wilson, Owen, Logan, James and Alexander Dishman; sister- in- law, Carol Huxham of LaPorte, MN. John was preceded in death by wife, Jerri L. (Adams) Huxham; grandson, Brian Lutes and brother, Claude Huxham. Services will be on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 1:00pm at Burge Terrace Baptist Church, 9345 Brookville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana  46239 with visitation from 11:00am until time of service at the church. Officiating the service will be Pastor Todd Curtis. Burial will be in the Orchard Hill Cemetery, Wanamaker, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burge Terrace Building Fund 9345 Brookville Road Indianapolis, IN 46239.
