JoAnne King

GREENFIELD–JoAnne King, 82, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026in Indianapolis. Born June 28, 1943, to Horace and Irene (Dunham) Stanley, she graduated from Greenfield Central High School. She married her late husband of 29 years, Ronald King on November 5, 1984. She was previously married to George Kleiman, who also preceded her in death. JoAnne was a bus driver for New Palestine Schools for 13 years and an avid bowler who achieved many perfect games. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, movies, puzzles, lighthouses, boating, horses, and especially her family. 

She is survived by her sons Randy (Karin) Kleiman of New Palestine, Chris (Daleen) Kleiman of Fountaintown, Mike (Missy) Kleiman of Fountaintown; stepdaughters Deby (Mike) Gastineau of Cicero, Angi (Rick) Snipes of Fortville, Jill (Derric) McFarland of Westfield; stepson Todd (Connie) King of Indianapolis; grandchildren Jessica White, Ryan White, Randi Jo Kleiman, Katie Jo Kleiman, Kenzie Kleiman; five great-grandchildren; brothers Richard (Pam) Stanley, Robert (Karen) Stanley; sister-in-law Janice Stanley; and several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers Ralph Stanley, Donald Stanley; and stepdaughter Lori (Bob) Nelson. 

Services will be Friday, May 1, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 West U.S. 52, Fountaintown, IN with visitation from 5:00 p.m. until time of the service. Pastor Michael Smith is officiating.
