J erry R. Linkous, 74 of Greenfield passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012. Jerry was born in Mongomery County, VA on August 13, 1937 to the late Mr. Mason & Ora (Harris) Linkous. He wasa loving husband, father, and grandpa. He was an avid sports fan, loved fishing and to restore old cars. He is survived by loving wife; Marlene Linkous, daughters; Gina (Roger) Crowder, Darla Richards and Denise (Chris Eberhardt) Linkous, grandchildren; Stephen Cox, Justin Cox, Matthew Linkous, Tyler Costigan, Josh Richards, Travis Richards, Whitney Crowder and Austen Crowder, 8 Great Grandchildren and best dog ever "Scrappy". He is also proceeded in death by brother; Leroy Linkous. The family would like to Thank our special Angel Tammy Staley for all her love and support. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 10am-1pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, Carrollton, IN with a 1pm Service. Burial will follow in New Palestine Cemetery, New Palestine, IN. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the family c/o Bell Mortuary & Crematory.
