Jerry L. Collins, 59 of Fountaintown, passed away Thursday , January 17, 2013. Jerry was born on July 28, 1953 in Shelbyville, IN to the late Paul and Frances (Dawson) Collins. Jerry retired from Yellow Freight. He is survived his loving wife, Saundra B. (Huffman) Collins of Fountaintown; son, Ryan W. Collins of New Palestine; step-sons, Thomas(Gemma) Meeks of Australia, Ronald (Raynette) Meeks and James(Stacey) Meeks of Indianapolis; daughters, Angela L. Armstrong of New Palestine, Pamela(Bill) Seegers of Nashville, IN; stepdaughter, Tina Ratcliff of Plainfield, IN; sisters, Pat(Gaey) Bowby of Greensburg and Angie(Jack) Swim of Luchenbach, TX; brothers, Tony(Jo) Collins of Burlington, IN and Tom(Kathy) Collins of Mooresville; 19 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Jerry is proceeded in death by his parents, stepfather, Gordon Myers; brother, Paul Collins Jr and grandson, James Meek. Pastor Jeannie Burge will be officiating.
