James William Wheeler, 74, of Greenfield, passed away at home Tuesday, June 28, 2016. He was born September 25, 1941 in Indianapolis to William and Myrtle (Taylor) Wheeler. He worked as a steel estimator and draftsman for 52 years. James is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Terri; sons, Jim (Renee) of Greenwood, Doug (Mary) of Greenfield, Jeff (Sarah) of Indianapolis, and Mark (Samantha) of Greenfield; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Charles; and sister, Vivian Bratton. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Samuel Martin Wheeler; his parents; and sisters Lillian Ransdell, Evelyn Crawford, Virl Stephans and Annalou Seitz.
