James F. Knopp , 77 of Fountaintown , passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013. James was born on Feb. 23, 1936, in Morristown, to the late Luther M. and Mary (Andis) Knopp.
He was a retired Healthcare Administrator for the State of Indiana. He was also a member of the Burge Terrace Baptist Church and Charter member of the Hospital Management Society.
James is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn (Beyers) Knopp of Fountaintown; son, James Mark(Lisa C.) Knopp of Greenfield; daughters, Denise Ann (Bob) Waymire and Kathleen Sue (Charlie) Burton of Fountaintown; sisters, Peggy Lahey of Greenfield, Patsy Martin of Danville, IL and Carol Jackson of Knightstown; brothers, Billie Knopp of Shelbyville, Bobbie Knopp of Shelbyville and Volney Knopp of Corydon, IN; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, 2 half-brothers; and 1 half –sister.
Burial will follow at Fountaintown Cemetery in Fountaintown, IN.
