James "Paul" Hoffman

James "Paul" Hoffman, 80 , of Indianapolis, IN passed away at 10:30 PM Thursday, February 4, 2021 near loved ones in New Palestine, IN. He was born on March 4, 1940 in Mooreland, IN. He was united in marriage to Karin Bradt June 20,1964 and was married for 56 years.

Paul is survived by his wife; Karin Hoffman of Indianapolis, IN, daughters; Sherry Shriner of Lees Summit, MO. and Lorrie Hamilton (Kelly) of New Palestine, IN., sons; Randy Hoffman of Dallas, TX. and Tim Hoffman of Indianapolis, IN. Seven grandchildren Derek (Samantha) Hamilton, Brandton Shriner, Lance Shriner, Mikaela Hamilton, Quest Shriner, Isaiah Hoffman, Xavier Hoffman, and 3 great grandchildren, Dylan, Lance, Malia. Paul was preceded in death by two brothers; Richard Hoffman, and Brian Hoffman, and son-in-law Galen Shriner.

He received his Bachelor's degree in Business at Ball State University. He served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1965- 1969. He was ordained as an Assembly of God minister and served in the capacity of Assistant Pastor and Pastor. For many years he took short term mission trips and preached the Gospel throughout the world, in the Phlillipines, Peru, Africa, India, Korea, Australia and Europe.

Funeral Service will be on Thursday, February 11,  2021 at 1:00pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 West US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN  46130 with Visitation on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the mortuary. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jerry McCamey. Burial will be in the New Palestine Cemetery, New Palestine, IN.

Masks must be worn for both visitation and service.
