James D. Cesnik

James D.Grimes Cesnik, 64, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010. Jim or J.D. as he was know to many people, drove an 18-wheeler during most of his employed years. He worked for several companies including Liquid Carbonics and at retirement, for Sysco Corporation. He also worked in the food service industry for several years. He was born November 21, 1945, in Indianapolis, IN to Iris N. Grimes and Harold D. Grimes. James was adopted by Ruby L. Cesnik in 1948 when his mother re-married. He was baptized at the Fountain Square Church of Christ Circa in 1960 and was a member of The International Brotherhood of Teamsters. James was blessed with a multitude of talents including automotive repair and home renovations. He attended Speedway Grade Schools and Southport High School. He earned his general diploma from Manual High School in the mid 1960's. Preceded in death by his Mother, Iris N. Cesnik. James had no children. JD is survived by adoptive father, Rudy L. Cesnik, half-sister, Bobijean Cesnik-Neher and a nephew, Erick S. Neher, also, several cousins, aunts and uncles, both maternal and paternal. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mr. Cesnik's name to Gathering Together Hospice, 147 N. Center St., Plainfield, IN 46168.
