Ira C. Ritter

Ira C. Ritter , 82, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014 in Indianapolis. He was born on March 29, 1932 in Wayne County, IL to the late Lorenzo James and Kathryn Grace Burrell Ritter. Ira was a resident of Morristown, IN and worked as a Truck Driver for Krogers for 40 years until he retired. He attended the Carrollton United Methodist Church and served on the Concord Cemetery Board. Survivors include his wife; Betty Spitzner Ritter, daughters; Peggy Brune, New Palestine, Penny (James Fleck) Keaton, Morristown, sons; Tim (Sara) Ritter, Greenwood, Richard (Ruth) Ritter, New Palestine and Jeff Ritter, Indianapolis. 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, sister; June Ayers, Fairfield, IL. Preceded in death by sisters; Lillian Lammers, and Marie Bullard, and brother; Leo Ritter, son-in-law; Dennis Brune, great granddaughters; Isabella Brooklyn Hill and Caitlyn Renee Clay.
Services will be on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 1:00pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel with Pastor Jeri Barrett-Thomas Officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00am until time of service. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery, Morristown, IN.
