Herbert "Herb" Eugene Brown Ii

Herbert “Herb” E. Brown II , 77, of Indianapolis, IN passed away August 30, 2020. He was born in Linton, IN, a son of the late Edna L. (Wakefield) and Herbert E. Brown Sr. Survivors include his wife, Cindy L. Brown; sons, Herbert E. Brown III; stepson, Kevin J. Amiotte; stepdaughter, Misty D. Farley; one grandchild; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Dawn Morningstar Brown.

Herb retired from the military in 2001. He served in the United States Marine Corp. and as a pilot in the United States Air Force. He was a Vietnam Veteran and earned a Bronze Star. Herb also had a membership in the NRA, Front Sight and U.S.C.C.A.

He enjoyed shooting, computers, boating, sailing, camping and was an animal lover. Herb was a 4 time High Power National Champion, President Hundred, Governors Twenty, Pistol State Champion, High Master, Distinguished Rifleman and Distinguished Pistol Shooter.

A military ceremony will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Noblesville VFW, 654 S. 9th Street, Noblesville, IN 46060.

Arrangements are being handled by Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel, 2310 W. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222.
