Henry Wright

Henry Wright , 85, of Indianapolis, IN passed away August 13, 2020. He was born in Indianapolis, IN, a son of the late Lillie Belle (Gardner) and Chaney Wright. Survivors include his wife, Marcia Wright; son, Kashwayne Duncan; stepdaughter, Melonie Merchant; sisters, Rosa B. Rice, Gladys King, Sandra Y. Wright, Shirley A. Shelton, Helen Mays; brother, David Wright; two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Wright; sisters, Penny Wright and Sally B. Echols.

Henry served in the United States Army. He was a First Class Gunner Marksman. Henry was a retired cab driver.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 31, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel, 2310 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the mortuary. Officiating will be Reverend Cefrien Gordon. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
