Glenn E. Beard , 61, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2017 in Carlisle, Indiana. He was born February 8, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of the late Lois (Boles) Keene and Walter Beard, Jr. He is survived by his brothers, Rick Beard and William Beard; his nephew that was more like a son, Jayson Waleck; along with his niece, Aderana Beard. He is also survived by some special friends, Gina Fesler and Kathy Burton; along with other friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lois Boles and Walter Beard, Jr.; his sisters, Lisa Joe Petty John and Benita Beard; and nephew, Alex Beard.
Glenn enjoyed several hobbies in his spare time. He loved the outdoors, along with fishing, camping and hunting. He studied martial arts. He was a loyal brother, along with being a very loving man, and he always kept his word. He loved to tell stories and everyone looked up to him in many ways.
Services will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel, 2310 W Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
