Gerald Rex Brattain , 73 of Danville, passed away Feb. 27, 2013. He was born in Lansing, MI. He went to Greencastle High School and was a truck driver. He served in the army with the 81Division Paratrooper. He was a member of the Catheral of Prayer Baptist Church. His hobbies were camping and bicycling.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Brattain; sister, Rosemarie Steely; and son. Geral Brattain.
Survivors include son, Dewayen Brattain; sister, Dixie Visker Brattain; his companion of 20 years, Norma Fortune and grandchild, Elizabeth Brattain.
