George Thomas Inkoff

March 5, 1929 — May 14, 2007

George was born to Tom and Molly Inkoff. George was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1947. He served in the U.S. Navy as a corpsman for five years. He was on the USS Missouri during the Korean Conflict. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and a Shriner. George was the owner of Inkoff's Tavern, which was established by his parents in 1937 and was famous for its Spanish Hamburgers. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Inkoff, and children, Karin Inkoff-Holman Ellis, Elaine Inkoff-Scott, Cindy Inkoff, and Andrea Berg, Robert and James Garza; grandchildren, Leslye Erin Etienne, Carl Thomas Inkoff Etienne, Jamie Scott and Michelle Henry, Amy Bennett, Michael and Terry Berg, Amanda Green, Joshua Thornburgh, Roberto Jessica, Nydia and David Garza; and great grandfather to Amber and Sarah Henry, Sabrina Bennett, Alex Berg, Austin Bryant, Elijah and Jeremiah Garza, Dominic Sumner and Jaxon Thornburgh. He is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Hoover and Dolly Carlisle. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Murat Shrine Education Fund, National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Indiana State Chapter and American Cancer Society.
