Gartha Bernice Webb
entered Heavens gates on September 2, 2015 at 8:50 pm, surrounded by loved ones,
after a courageous battle with cancer.
Gartha was born to Hazel Suter & Walter Harshbarger on January 25, 1933 in Colfax Indiana where she
attended school. She was preceeded in death by two brothers, three sisters, and the love of her life,
her husband Billy R. Webb.
Gartha is survived by her two brothers and two sisters. Also, her sons Greg, Bruce & Mark.
Four grandchildren Brandon, Brea, Dustin & Gretchen.
Twelve great grandchildren Chaille, Gage, Hayden, Madison, Chandler, Jimmy, Maddy, Quintyn, Peyton,
Elijah, Brandy & Ashley.
Services will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lebanon Tuesday September 8th @ 6:30 pm
Special thanks to the staff at Homewood Healthcare for providing more than just healthcare to her.
The care they provided could never be taught in a school.
During the end of her stay she was heard citing lines from a favorite hymn:
What a day that will be,
When my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand,
and leads me to The Promised Land.
What a day, glorious day that will be.
