Freada Mae Mcmahel

Freada McMahel of Bainbridge, IN passed away Saturday April 30, 2011 at Plainfield Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was eighty years old. Born May 30, 1930 in Greencastle, IN, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Flossie McMahel Keck. Survivors include: her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kelly Sears of Avon, IN; Lance and Teresa Sears of Brazil, IN; and Dan and Paula Sears of Cypress, TX; sisters and brother-in-law Lucille and John Gelsosomo of Flossmorr, IL and Doris Wright of Indianapolis, IN. There were also six grandchildren Hollie Sears-Mendenhall, Ashley Sears-Flanagan, Dustin Sears, John Sears, Samantha Sears and Tabitha Havlin and two great grandchildren Ethan and Jacob Mendenhall. Preceding her in death was her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Tom Tharp, brother Albert McMahel and brother-in-law Robert Wright. Freada enjoyed playing Euchre and fishing. She was also a member of the Eagles Lodge in Greencastle. The Wake/Memorial Service will be held Saturday May 7, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bainbridge Community Center.
