Ellen Shirlene (Savage) Masters, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away January 21, 2014. Ellen was born February 24, 1934, in Indianapolis, IN. She went to Ben Davis High School and retired from Dison Heating and Cooling. She was a member and Sunday School teacher at New Life New Beginnings. Ellen enjoyed sewing and her grandchildren. A quote that she will be remembered for is "It will work out."

Ellen was proceeded in death by her parents, Edwin and Edith Savage; husband, Darvin Masters, Sr.; son, Darvin Masters, Jr.; daughters, Brenda Edwards, Linda Masters and infant Masters; granddaughter, Nikole Herr; grandsons, Isaac Ayris and Zane Masters; sister, Audrey Smith and brothers-in-law, Ray Huffines and Perry Neal.

She is survived by her sons, Chuck (Lorrie) Masters, Joe (Joann) Masters and Frank (Terry) Masters; daughters, Edith (David) Nugent and Alice (Ron) Willingham; son-in-law, Leroy Edwards; daughter-in-law, Connie Masters; sisters, Nancy Huffines and Revia (Gerald) Devore; brother, Edwin (Deloris) Savage; brother-in-law, Harvey Smith; grandchildren, Darvin Masters III, Malisha (Andy) Knox, Ashley (Kevin) Roy, Melanie (Shannon) Edwards, Valerie Thompson, Melissa Edwards, Charles (Amanda) Masters, Jr., Christie Masters, Joshua (Samantha) Masters, Michael Masters, Tonya (Greg) Ayris, David (Samantha) Nugent, Sara (Brandon) Schroeder, Jessica Masters, Justin Masters, Tabitha (Adam) Pfahl, Tiffany Nugent, Becky Williams and Rosemary Masters; great grandchildren, Brady Warrum, Ashley Masters, Dakota Masters, Robert Martin, Katie (Bryan) Rice, Christopher McDaniel, MaKayla Roy, Haley Roy, Zymonie Edwards, Mara Edwards, Alexis Thompson, Willow Thompson, Damon Edwards, Oceana Edwards, Ashton Masters, Hallie Masters, Lucas Masters, Dillon Woolf, Madison Vice, Kaleb Vice, Zoe Masters, Gregory Ayris, Darvin Ayris, Abbey Ayris, Nolan Nugent, Jay Nugent, Dee Nugent,  Braxton Nugent, Hunter Schroeder, Christian Herr, Wyatt Herr, Jocelynn Herr, Emmy Pfahl and Stephanie Botos; one great-great-grandson, Bryan Rice and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Burial will follow Service at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
