Ellen Carney De Long

Ellen Carney de Long of Fishers, IN passed away at her residence on April 27, 2024 in Fishers, IN.

Survivors include, husband, Shawn Kimble de Long; sisters, Anne Carney, Pat (Dave Dawkins) Carney; brothers Jim (Aida) Carney, Thomas (Susan) Carney; 2 Aunts & 1 Uncle; 13 cousins; 4 nieces; 11 nephews, 2 grand nieces & 2 grand nephews.

Ellen was a graduate of Marion High School and later Purdue University. She was employed at Ernst & Young. She loved golfing, sailing, going to the lake and traveling the world, along with spending time with her family & friends and playing mahjong.

Her mantra was "If my life were like a ship on the sea, today I will be the navigator. I realize that on the sea of life, I can't control the weather, but I am perfectly capable of adjusting my sails." (Author Unknown)

Funeral Mass will be Friday, May 10, 2024 at 2:00pm at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Rd, Fishers, IN 46038 with a visitation starting at 1:00pm at the church. Officiating the funeral mass will be Father Jordan.
