Duane Henry Miller

Duane H. Miller, 74, of Greenfield, passed away on December 9, 2020 in Greenfield.  He was born on March 5, 1946 in Indianapolis, a son of the late Henry T. and Estella P. (Austermiller) Miller.

Survivors include wife, Joan (Roberts) Miller; daughters, Denette Miller (Todd) Cronkright, Deanne (Jason) Jones; stepson, Rodney Roberts; brothers, David (Mary) Miller, Doug (Jan) Miller; grandchildren, Kaden Roberts, Nathan Jones, Natalie Jones, Addison Cronkright; two cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He retired from Navistar in 2009, and was a member of the AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association). His hobbies included being a private pilot, water-sportsman, boating, camping, and RV travel.

A Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 1:00pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 West US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN  46130.  Visitation will be on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the mortuary. Officiating will be Pastor Paul Galbraith.

Burial will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in the New Palestine Cemetery, New Palestine, IN.

Masks must be worn at both the visitation and service. Due to Covid 19 mandate limiting 25 persons per gathering, we respectfully ask to keep your visit brief so that we may rotate 25 guests at a time. This will ensure all those who wish to pay their respects to the family may do so.
