Donavon F. Rayl
May 30, 1927 — June 9, 2010
Donavon F. Rayl, 83, of Indianapolis passed away June 9, 2010. He was born May 30, 1927 in Kokomo, IN. He is preceded in death by his four brothers, Harold, Gerald, Dallas and Allen; and parents, Emil C. and Cora B. Rayl. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Marketing at Indiana University. He worked over 40 years in the transportation and insurance fields. He was a Navy veteran and served in WWII. He was an avid golfer, loved the Lord and was very active in the church. Survived by wife; Ruth A. Rayl, son; Stephen B. Rayl, daughter; Kathryn L. Rayl, and grandchildren; Craig and Allison Rayl. Graveside service will be held at West Ridge Cemetery, Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to The American Lung Cancer Society.
