Dennis Hampton Duckworth
June 8, 1947 — April 29, 2016
Dennis Hampton Duckworth Sr. 68, of Indianapolis, passed away April 29, 2016. Dennis was born in Morganton, NC where he spent his childhood and visited frequently throughout his life. He also lived in Indianapolis where he met his wife, Judy. Judy and Dennis were married in 1969 after Dennis completed his military service in the Vietnam War. Throughout life, Dennis was a guitar player, teacher, and a praise and worship leader. Dennis is survived by four children, sons, Brian (Mary) Duckworth, Dennis (Socorro) Duckworth Jr., Michael (Stacy) Duckworth, and daughter, Jennifer (Gregg) Duckworth; nine grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Kaitlyn, Luke, Kaylee, Taylor, Denny, Chloe, and Michael; one great grandchild, Lilly. Dennis was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy, and his mother, Lola Duckworth-Street, his brothers, Mack, Curtis, and Woody, and his sister, Sadie.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, May, 6, 2016 at Adaggios, 5999 Memory Lane, Greenfield, IN.
