Denise Ann McClammer (Lawson) died on January 3, 2018 in Indianapolis, Indiana with her husband, Roger McClammer, by her side.  She was 61.

Denise was born on May 4, 1956 in Eugene, Oregon to Don and Susan Lawson.  After spending her childhood in Oregon and Texas, she moved to Indianapolis in 1973 where she met Roger.  They were married in 1974 and modeled a loving and committed marriage for 43 years.  Denise was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.  She was fashionable, creative and a warm conversationalist.  Prior to being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, she was a talented financial advisor who enjoyed helping people organize and plan their finances.

Denise is survived by her parents, Don and Susan Lawson; her husband, Roger; her son Cortney (Brandi); her son Kyle (Sara); her two grandchildren, Alyssa and Maxwell; her sisters Retta Hill and Delta Myers (Steve Myers); her brother Don Lawson (Julia Lawson); and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Merle and Martha McClammer.

A celebration of life open house is scheduled for January 13, 2018 from 2-4 pm at Soma Church, 2815 E. 62nd St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46220, following a memorial service at 1pm.  All are welcome to attend and honor Denise’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
