Debra Jean (Teater) Jennings

Debra Jean (Teater) Jennings, 65, Fortville, passed away September 6, 2024 at her residence. She was born on January 20, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Hubert Todd and Cleo Ann Teater.

Survivors include; husband, Dennis Jennings; daughters, Angela Blanchard (Curtis); Ashley Ort (Steve); sister, Jody Rachell; brother, Thomas Teater; grandchildren, Hope Elizebeth Jean Ort, Steve Alan Ort III, Alison Taylor Kirk, and Clayton Barkdull.  She was preceded in death by parents and brother, Hubert T. Teater, Jr.

Debra had worked at the Indy Star for 10 years before going to work and retiring from Tyco. After retirement she worked as a Pharmacy Tech at Meijer.

She loved going to the casino, also loved to cook for her family. She enjoyed shopping and attending craft fairs. Dennis and Debra enjoyed many motorcycle trips on the Harley with friends and family. Most of all she enjoyed spending time w her husband and watching her grandbabies grow and blossom. She was an amazing wife, mom and mamaw and loved by all.

Service will be on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2:00pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W. US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until time of service at the mortuary.
