Deborah S. (Groves) Baatz

Deborah S. (Groves) Baatz , 61, went home to be with our Lord on October 21, 2020. She was born on December 25, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN, daughter of the late Vertice (Monk) and Hylas Groves. Survivors include her husband, Curtis Baatz of Rushville; sons, Johnnie (Heather) Ramsey of Fountaintown, Joseph (Jaci) Glass of Brownsburg; daughter, Jennell (Jeremy) Estes of Rushville; stepson, Joshua Baatz of Shelbyville; two sisters, Sherry Jacobson of Greenfield, Debra Groves of Arlington. She was blessed with twenty grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by father, Hylas Groves; mother, Vertice (Monk) Groves; brother, Michael Groves; stepson, Jeremy Baatz.

Deborah was a former Volunteer EMT/Firefighter with Morristown Volunteer Fire Dept.

Masks are required for visitation and service.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 26, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W US 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130. Visitation will be Monday, October 26, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the mortuary. Officiating will be Pastor Danny McAdams. Burial will be at Asbury Cemetery, Morristown, IN.
