Survivors include Wife, Edith Lynn Nugent; son, David Lynn (Samantha) Nugent II; daughters, Tonya Renee (Gregory) Ayris; Sara Marie (Brandon) Schroeder; 1 granddaughter & 9 grandsons; many nephews and nieces; sister Linda (Charles) Stark, brother-in-law, Billy Collier.

Preceded in death by parents, Joe & Edith Nugent; brothers, Fred Nugent, Anthony Nugent; sisters, Joann Collier, Jennifer Nugent; grandson, Isaac Joe Ayris; Nephew, Colby Nugent; niece, BillyJo; In-laws, Darvin & Ellen Masters; brother-in-law, Darvin Masters Jr.; sister-in-law, Brenda Edwards.

David loved hunting & fishing. He loved playing baseball & basketball and talking about all things sports with family and friends.

Service will be Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11:00AM at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock, 2310 W Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46222. Visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2024 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Mortuary. Officiating will be Pastor Brian Correll, Gregory Ayris and Gregory Ayris Jr. Burial will be at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
