David (Dave) A Wheatley

David (Dave) A. Wheatley, 78, of Fountaintown, IN, passed away on May 9th, at his residence.
David was born in Beech Grove, IN on April 27, 1938, a son of the late Pearl F (Heistand) and Herbert O. Wheatley. Survivors include sons; Scott (Misty), Jim (Suzanne) and Brian (Almira) Wheatley, brothers; Burchard (Mary Lou), Ben (Joan) and Tom (Tracy) Wheatley and 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son David Brian Wheatley.
He served in the U.S. Army Air National Guard. He also spent 25 years in the International Union of Operating Engineers.
Services will be on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 9:00am in Pleasant View Baptist Church, 12442 Southeastern Avenue, Acton, Indiana 46259 with Pastor Don Well Officiating. The Visitation will be on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Church. Burial will be in the Acton Cemetery, Acton, IN.
