Bill served honorably in the United States Army and worked as a Michigan Corrections Officer and later as a railroad engineer. Bill loved riding his Harley and Starbucks coffee. The two things Bill cherished the most were family and close friends; and everyone Bill knew was his close friend. Bill is survived by his three children; Roy Millwood Tricia, Amber Millwood Jaramillo and Charles "Justin" Millwood; eight grandchildren, Brandon Jaramillo, Kassei Wolthuis, Connor Millwood, Briona Jaramillo, Elisabeth Millwood, Garret Wolthuis, Jacob Millwood, Thomas Millwood; several nieces and nephews; and three sisters, Charyl Vlasblom Ron, Jacqueline Crooks Richard, and Penny Millwood Rootes. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Charles Millwood, Sr., and his mother, Dorothy Millwood. Bill was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Doris Millwood Mapes. Bill's final wish was to be cremated followed by a memorial celebrating his life. The memorial celebration will be held at Shiloh Community Church, with Pastor Ken Harger Sr. officiating, at 11:00am on Saturday, November 20, 2010. In lieu of flowers, Bill's desire was to have memorial donations given to the Ionia Chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous.
